Most Important Consideration in a Relationship

When a person gets into a relationship, he gets to experience different amazing aspects of life. Being into a strongly bonded relationship makes him/her happy like never before. Together with the happiness and amazing feelings, a relationship brings different considerations. For instance, some people may include love, understanding, responsibility, compatibility, trust, loyalty, and truthfulness as major considerations in their relationship. These are undoubtedly major concerns of every individual in a relationship. One major consideration that I personally prefer is always telling the truth to my partner.

Truthfulness is a virtue in every aspect of life. Especially, it is an essence in a relationship. Truthfulness helps to flourish the relationship and blossom like a flower. It starts with presenting ourselves the way we are. None of us are perfect in all the ways. So, many of us often pretend to be a different one with great panache to grab extra attention of our partners. Demonstrating the real us among our partners helps both to accept the good as well as sides of each other. Not being honest to our partners is the root cause of every problem in a relationship. It may cause misunderstandings, and may ultimately lead to arguments, fights and sometimes even to the end of the relationship. When a partner in a relationship hides the truth or lies to the other, the other partner starts having negative attitude towards their relationship. The quote "Once a liar, always a liar" can explain their mentality. This is what gives rise to the feeling of insecurity, incompatibility and so on. This may sometime even lead to a situation when the relationship is nothing but a big question mark.

Always telling the truth to our partner is undoubtedly a very challenging thing to do as things are not always that easy. Some truths are hard to tell and even harder to accept. But these situations are the real tests for the relationships and the bond that the two people share. Being truthful to our partner develops a positivity in both and build an impenetrable wall of trust and understanding among them. After all, trusting your partner more than anyone else is a major thing in a relationship.

I personally do this in my relationship. Despite all other issues, always telling truths to each other is what I believe is making my relation grow stronger each day. Considering all these things, I truly support the statement that always telling the truth is the most important thing in a relationship.

Should Advertisements Directed Towards Children be Allowed or Banned?

Advertisements have become an unavoidable part of our life. Today's digital and busy world has been more like a complex phenomenon; we do not have much time to deeply analyze every thing that we use. There are competitions in the market for every product we use and every service we accept. These competitions lead to the need of advertising the products and services, so as to promote individual product and service among the people. Likewise, advertisements are also used for non-commercial purpose, for the sake of raising awareness among people or providing some essential knowledge and information. Advertisement has become an integral part of the marketing field. Like everything else in the world, advertisement does have some pros and some cons as well. Especially, when it comes to advertisements directed towards young children  (around 2-5 years), the concern is even more sharp and crucial.

We have to admit that advertisements are designed in a way to attract our subliminal consciousness. Repetition of the same tagline and goodness of a product or service does affect our minds, and consequently influence our attitude towards the product/service. The same thing goes with the children; in fact, they are even more sensitive to the advertisements as they do not have the correct ability to judge among what's true and what's not. They tend to believe everything they see around them to be real, be it a television advertisement, a poster/pamphlet or anything else. Advertisements have even deeper impacts on the children than adults. This may be sometimes good and fruitful for them, however, sometimes it may be a bad thing. The question is highly dependent on the content of the advertisement and sometimes the perception that a child makes about an advertisement.

Advertisements can be very influential and motivating to children in many ways. For instance, we can see TV Commercials advertising about hand sanitizers as well as awareness campaigns about washing hands or advertisements about toothpaste/toothbrush. These advertisements may teach and encourage the habit of washing hands and brushing teeth among the young children. Similarly, advertisements about playschools and creative kid works may cause the children to want to go to schools and involve in creative activities. They could also make children tending to involve more in the extra-curricular activities and sports. In addition to that, some cartoon characters and story lines in advertisements tend to develop a very positive attitudes among the children regarding their behaviors, actions, future goals.

However, we are bound by the fact that some advertisements are not so favorable for children. They are designed with sneaky methods of grabbing the children's attention and make them to want or desire for the thing. Considering the fact that children have almost no knowledge of what's right and what's wrong, it is lucidly clear that some advertisements may lead the children to be tenacious. Children are often stubborn in nature when they demand for something. For example, advertisements of certain toys may cause children to stubbornly unyielding for their demand of those toys. This seems like a small thing, but it may lead them to inveterate action of demanding something stubbornly.

Keeping in mind all these facts, we can not explicitly say that advertisement directed towards young children is correct or not. The impact of these advertisements is very much dependent on the content and the relative nature of the children. Since advertisements undoubtedly have many positive impacts, it would be better to expurgate or filter the contents and advertisements rather than now allowing the advertising directed towards young children.
